Job Description

As a Leisure Centre Teacher at Korsängsskolan, your primary responsibilities include:

• Creating safe and inclusive meeting places for students.
• Planning and conducting activities that promote community, movement, and creativity.
• Building good relationships with students and guardians.
• Serving as a support for students' social development and well-being.
• Collaborating with school staff regarding safety and study environment.
• Contributing to the school's work on values and ethics.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has an easy time building good relationships with young people.
• Is confident, responsible, and proactive.
• Has the ability to collaborate and work independently.
• Wants to contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment.

You must have a license to work in leisure centers or a teaching license, as well as experience working in a school.

About the Workplace

Korsängsskolan is a school covering grades F-9 with just over 860 students. The school is located in central Enköping with a mixed catchment area, covering parts of the town center and, to some extent, the countryside. The school was inaugurated in 1948 and has been in operation since then; additions and renovations have been made over the years. The school is popular with high demand, and most students spend all 10 years at Korsängsskolan.

All activities in the school are characterized by "We have an uncompromising focus on the student's best interest, which means one step at a time and always forward." We have a well-developed student health service with a school nurse, school counselor, and school psychologist.
